The Certificate in Yoga Education (C.Y.Ed.) is a one-year certificate program designed to provide fundamental knowledge and practical training in the science and practice of yoga. The course focuses on developing physical fitness, mental balance, and overall well-being through systematic training in yoga asanas, pranayama, meditation, and yogic lifestyle.
This program introduces students to the basic principles and philosophy of yoga, along with an understanding of human anatomy and the role of yoga in maintaining health and preventing lifestyle-related diseases. The course includes both theoretical learning and practical sessions to ensure a balanced understanding of yogic practices.
The program also aims to develop the skills required to become a Yoga Instructor or Yoga Trainer, enabling students to conduct yoga sessions in schools, community centers, wellness centers, and fitness institutes.
